According to Nick Park, Ben Whitehead (the voice of Mr. Leaching) recorded some uncredited additional lines for Wallace. Whitehead went on to voice Wallace for specific projects whenever Peter Sallis was unavailable, and became the character's permanent voice in when Sallis retired in 2010 and later passed on in 2017.
