The impressive high-speed shot where Evelyn gets sucked into the janitor's closet is all done in-camera. The effect was achieved by dramatically lowering the camera's frame rate and having Michelle Yeoh act in slow motion as she was pushed toward the closet. When the film was played back at regular speed, it appeared exactly as it does in the film.
