The part of Oscar Cabos was originally offered to Jesús Ochoa,a very well known actor at the time, however, thanks to a very sour audition he didn't get the part, then the producers received a call from Pedro Armendáriz Jr., who happily agreed to take part in the casting process and was promptly offered the part instead
