Four of the actors have appeared in a film in the same year that another actor played that same character, usually in another film. Tom Skerritt appeared in La zona morta (1983) in 1983. Earlier that year, Sandy Ward played his part in Cujo (1983). In 1992, Sigourney Weaver worked with Sir Ridley Scott a second time in 1492 - La conquista del paradiso (1992), in which she played Queen Isabella of Spain. Earlier that year, Rachel Ward played the same part in Cristoforo Colombo: la scoperta (1992). In 2013, John Hurt played the War Doctor on Day of the Doctor, in which he acts directly opposite David Tennant and Matt Smith, along with cameos by several other former doctors, some of whom returned to the show, others by means of archival footage. One former Doctor was Sylvester McCoy, who also appeared in Lo Hobbit - Un viaggio inaspettato (2012) and Lo Hobbit - La battaglia delle cinque armate (2014), in which the lead role of Bilbo Baggins was played by both Ian Holm and Martin Freeman.
