The poster of this film had the slogan, "You'll never see him coming." This was a quote similar to one said by the character The Mandarin in Iron Man 3 (2013), "And you'll never see me coming." Both The Predator (2018) and Iron Man 3 (2013) were written and directed by Shane Black.
