Amy Sedaris is widely known for her portrayal of Jerri Blank on the television series Strangers with Candy (1999). While developing the character Jerri, she wanted her to have "an ugly name, like Jerri or Toni". In Jennifer's Body (2009), she plays Needy's mother, Toni.
