Two characters in this film who were originally supposed to be black became white when Joel Schumacher replaced Tim Burton. Billy Dee Williams, who played Harvey Dent in Batman (1989), was supposed to play Two-Face, and Marlon Wayans was supposed to play Robin, although these characters have historically been white.
