In the original film, after the Pelekais' house was destroyed, it is newly re-built. However, unlike Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, the design of the new house is not reused for this series; instead, a somewhat different design is used. This was due to creative differences between the animators of the films and the animators of the series.
