Co-producer Tony Bill was an antique car buff who helped round up several period cars to use in the film. One of them was his own rare 1935 Pierce Arrow Model 845 Club sedan, which served as Lonnegan's private car. New it cost $2,995 (~$62,000 in 2022). This car sold at auction in 2007 for $53,820 in a depressed market. In 2022 this car from such a famous film could be worth well over $100,000.
