If one pays close attention the film seems to go in a 'cycle'. For example Darren is seen opening the store to customers twice and is seen in a running gag pushing the waste bins. Likewise a corn on the cob starts the infamous 'Great Beyond' film twice while the rest of the foods join in when it is their cue such as 'Hitler' singing they will 'exterminate the juice'. This is a parody of the Bill Murray film Groundhog Day where Bill Murray's character was locked in a time loop, in which the characters do the same routine again and again.
