Sam takes some inspiration from her father when it comes to stopping Richie as she violently stabs him multiple times. Billy "watches" proudly from a nearby reflection as she cuts Richie's throat. When finished, Sam wipes Richie's blood off the knife with her hand in the same fashion Ghostface has done in multiple films in the series, one even coming after Billy's fakeout death in the original film.
