The voice of Zaza the cockroach is done by Owen Schumacher. It closely resembles the voice of Schumacher's imitation of then Dutch prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende. Schumacher regularly performed the character of Balkenende in Kopspijkers and Koefnoen (2004).
