This film surpassed Hoot (2006) as having the worst domestic opening weekend of any film released in more than 3,000 theaters. It grossed just $2,715,384 at 3,049 theaters, for an average of $891 per theater - which also gives it the distinction of being the only film released in over 3,000 theaters to open with less than $1,000 per theater.
