Although this is the Hollywood/American remake of the belgian film Loft (2008) most of the cast isn't American. Only two out of the five wives are from the US (Barbara Valerie Cruz and Mimi Kali Rocha). Isabel Lucas (Sarah Deakins) and Rachael Taylor (Anne) are Australian. Matthias Schoenaerts (Philip), who is reprising his role from the original is of course Belgian, Karl Urban is from New Zealand and even though Wentworth Miller is American he was born in the UK.
