Although several original members of the Dingle family had biblical names, the tradition of all newly introduced members having a biblical name was not firmly established until Charity and Cain Dingle joined the show in 2000. Neither of patriarch Zak's daughters, Tina and Tinkerbell (known as Belle), have biblical names, with their cousin Marlon being another prominent character without one.
