Rae Dawn Chong, who portrays Louis de Pointe du Lac's mother, previously starred in the horror anthology film I delitti del gatto nero (1990). Actor Christian Slater, who portrays Daniel Molloy in Intervista col vampiro (1994), also previously starred in I delitti del gatto nero (1990). Chong starred in the third and final story, "Lover's Vow", and Slater starred in the first story, "Lot 249".
