One of the dancers accompanying Rosemary Clooney is George Chakiris. Previously, he danced alongside Marilyn Monroe during the Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend number in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes 1953. He went on to earn the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, as "Bernardo", in West Side Story (1961).
