The throne room where the Elven ship crashes was a practical set. It was built on the same stage as the Hydra facility in Captain America - Il primo Vendicatore (2011), the medal ceremony in Guerre stellari (1977), and the moon base monolith excavation in 2001: Odissea nello spazio (1968).
