The first of three fully CGI films released in 2006 to have a squirrel as one of the main characters. The other two films being La gang del bosco (2006) and Boog & Elliot a caccia di amici (2006), which also starred William Shatner and Patrick Warburton respectively, the voices of the villainous wildebeests (though Blag reformed at the end) in this film now voicing the good guys in those films.
