The character 'Dana Pruitt' was a tribute to actress Dayna Price, who was an avid fan of the show and frequently visited the set in addition to her two guest appearances. Coincidentally, the role of 'Dana' was played by Larisa Oleynik, who starred on Il mondo segreto di Alex Mack (1994), on which the real-life Dayna was a recurring character.
