As already mentioned, it was canceled by CBS after the first season. During that first season, in Episode 14 (of the 22 made that first year), they added Jane Curtin to the cast. When it was revised/renewed, they changed the setting - in essence promoting the leads to a much higher profile job. They also 'lightened' the overall feel of the show, making it not as intense as Season One. Easily, the most notable changes though were the cast changes. They kept Poppy Montgomery, Dylan Walsh, and Jane Curtin. Other than those three, they replaced every other actor from the first season.
