This show was in a shared universe with Magnum P.I. (1980). In two crossover episodes, Jessica (Lansbury) goes to Hawaii and gets drawn into a case where Magnum (Tom Selleck) is framed, and Higgins (John Hillerman) asks for Jessica's help, in Magnum P.I.: Novel Connection (1986) and La signora in giallo: Magnum on Ice (1986).
