It later returned on Monday, October 7, 1957, on CBS at 9:00 PM EST/8:00 PM PST, where it stayed in the same timeslot for the entire run, especially at the beginning of the fourth season, airing immediately preceding the spin-off series The Andy Griffith Show (1960).
