During a flashback sequence, young Shang-Chi is seen playing Dance Dance Revolution with his parents (and his father tries to cheat). The song "Butterfly (Upswing Mix)" is briefly heard. The same game and song were used in a similar cutaway scene in WandaVision: All-New Halloween Spooktacular! (2021), with Billy and Tommy Maximoff being the players.
