The first Hong Kong action movie to use synchronized sound. However, on the 2009 region-1 DVD released by Dragon Dynasty/The Weinstein Company, when Jackie Chan discusses this in an interview, the subtitles transcribe the audio incorrectly. On top of that, only two actors, Kelvin Wong and Ken Lo, are dubbed by professional voice actors in post-production for the original "synchronized" Cantonese track, though Kelvin Wong's real English vocal lines are left intact.
