In their fight in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Knuckles is shown being able to easily block a Spin Dash from Sonic. Also in Sonic X (2003), Knuckles actually had difficulty holding back a Spin Dash from either Sonic or Shadow. During their first fight in this movie, Knuckles does it once again only now doing it with one hand while walking forward.
