Uraraka was originally a Mount Lady where she was based on an early prototype named "Yu Takeyama", and also she was originally going to have Mount Lady's power. This was scrapped, however, since it would have made her too overpowered compared to Midoriya and Bakugo, and because she would have suffered darker psychological issues due to that Quirk's effects.
