An advert for 'Cold Case' on Irish television in the early 2000s saw a mash-up between characters on 'Cold Case' and Irish-language soap opera 'Ros Na Rún'. It involed the characters of Rush and Stillman interrogating the character of Daniel from Ros na Rún (who was involved in a missing person's case on his show). Daniel stated in Irish that he doesn't speak English. The characters of Rush and Stillman than converse with him in Irish, much to his surprise. The tagine was: "The best Irish and American dramas together"
