Frank Capua is shown racing successively in different types of racing. In reality there was comparatively little crossover between codes as if you had a NASCAR racing license you couldn't race in USAC (IndyCar) or SCCA (sports cars) and vice versa. To get around this the three governing bodies put their most important races on the FIA International Calendar so that anybody with an FIA International license could race in their events, thus, for example, AJ. Foyt and Mario Andretti (both USAC licensed) could race in NASCAR events that were classified as International.
