Victor Garber later had a starring role in the series Legends of Tomorrow (2016) as Martin Stein, a physicist and one half of the time-traveling superhero Firestorm; as an in-joke to his role in the film, in Legends of Tomorrow: Freakshow (2017) (which, coincidentally, features a guest appearance by Billy Zane), Stein vehemently refuses to board the Titanic, decrying the ship's architect as one deserving of getting shot.
