"Fame" was one of the last Hollywood major studio features to be released in 70mm widescreen prints, at venues that could show the format (Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles and The Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City) along with printed "souvenir booklets" sold to patrons waiting in line.
