The Bosnian Serb army that are chasing burnett are apart of a branch of the VRS (Bosnian Serb Army) is the volunteer guard or Arkans Tigers (Arkanovi Tigrovi). Mutliple inscriptions on tanks are BMPs read Bog Cuva Srbe (God save the Serbs) and Grada (City). Most of the weapons used by the Serbs are Czechoslovak VZ-58s. Explaining why is due to the flim being shot in Slovakia and Slovakia having a stockpile of VZs.
