On 19 February 2015, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the first episode being broadcast, Danny Dyer (Mick Carter) made the public-address station announcements at Bromley-by-Bow underground station which is the real-life station which is replaced by the fictional Walford East station on Tube maps in the show.
