Anthony Edwards and William H. Macy both appeared together in the television series E.R. - Medici in prima linea (1994). Susan Sarandon would also later make a guest appearance. That series would also prove to be the breakout role for George Clooney, who would work with Joel Schumacher in Batman & Robin (1997). Anthony Edwards starred in La rivincita dei nerds (1984) & Bradley Whitford starred in La rivincita dei nerds II (1987).
