Reese Witherspoon presented the Oscars to directors Nick Park and Steve Box. She would later play the main protagonist in Mostri contro alieni (2009), another DreamWorks Animation film released four years later that, while it was hit and miss with critics, won the Saturn Award for Best Animated Film, which this film lost.
