Ann Miller previously appeared in Così parla il cuore (1954), which starred José Ferrer (from Dune (1984)) with a brief appearance by his then-wife, Rosemary Clooney, who was at the time pregnant with their first child, future I segreti di Twin Peaks (1990) cast member Miguel Ferrer. Also appearing briefly in the film was Russ Tamblyn, who also appeared in I segreti di Twin Peaks (1990).
