When the villagers confront Kerwin (Vincent Price) at his door in the opening flashback, they ask the girl who he has bewitched if she is there "of her own free will." This echoes the question asked by Joshua (John Derek) of Lilia (Debra Paget) in "The Ten Commandments" if she has chosen to remain with Dathan (Edward G Robinson). Debra Padget and Vincent Price starred in both films.
