In the Uncut/Unrated version of this film, the character Jesse suffers a much more gruesome fate than what is depicted in the theatrical version. In this alternate cut, Jesse's body is not only pinned to the wall, but also cut in half by the Predator's shuriken weapon. The lower half of her body falls to the floor, and her internal organs spill out as well.This is an homage and nearly identical remake of the death of Peter Keyes, the character played by Gary Busey in Predator 2. The scene, which was filmed entirely, was deemed too graphic for MPAA censors at that time and cut from the film to achieve an "R" rating instead of "NC-17".
