Scoring for the show consists of laying in prerecorded music from various composers over the years and edited with a computerized editor. Everything on the show is supported with music (wins, losses, diamond rings, cars, sofas etc...). The most recognizable piece of music is the main theme, which is used to open and close the show, as well as go to every commercial. The theme remained consistent and hadn't changed for thirty-five years, all of the years Bob Barker hosted the show.
