Season three, episode twelve, "Nightsisters", season three, episode thirteen, "Monsters", and season three, episode fourteen, "Witches of the Mist", was not the first appearances of the Nightsister Sith witches in the Star Wars universe. Their culture was first developed for in the 1994 novel "The Courtship of Leia" by Dave Wolverton. Subsequently, the character of Charal from the spin-off movie Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985) was identified as a Nightsister as well.
