As has been previously mentioned, the first draft of the filming script was written when it was believed Albert Finney would be returning to reprise the role of Hercule Poirot again. Although Finney decided against it and Peter Ustinov was cast instead resulting in Poirot's dialogue being rewritten (with some uncredited input from Ustinov), a line from the first draft still remains when Poirot mentions what happened when he was last on the Orient Express.
