Near the end of the credits is a line that says: Characters of "Godzilla", "King Ghidorah", "Mothra", and "Rodan" created and owned by Toho Co., Ltd. This ties in with the MonsterVerse and was a clue to kaiju appearing in future movies, including Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). Ironically, the appearance of the credit spoils the reveal of these monsters in this film's post-credits.
