In the scene showing Judy Garland's return to vaudeville at the RKO Palace in 1951, Judy Davis lip-synched the song "Over the Rainbow" in its entirety, and reenacted Garland's singing movements down to the last detail. This performance was considered to be the stepping stone in Judy Garland's career comeback in the 1950s.
