Ellie Kemper, the truck-stop server who tells Jason Bateman's character (Sandy) to respect his wife (who she believes he's married to but not realizing that they're not) actually co-starred with Melissa McCarthy (Diana) in Le amiche della sposa (2011). Also, Kemper's character bears the name tag "Flo" which could or could not be a subtle reference to the character Flo from the TV series Alice (1976). Coincidentally both women are red heads.
