There is a scene in the movie involving the Shaw brothers (Luke Evans and Jason Statham) where they use a jet pack to fly into a plane. Once inside, Deckard quips "Now, don't get any ideas. You and planes don't have a good history." with Owen replying "No shit". This is a reference to the runway scene and what happened to Owen at the end of Fast & Furious 6 (2013).
