A stack of records can be seen on the floor beside Dick Hallorann's TV in his room. The record at the front of the stack is "Commoners Crown", a 1975 album by British folk-rock group Steeleye Span. The album's third track 'Long Lamkin' is based on a traditional song called "Lamkin", which gives an account of the murder of a woman and her infant son by a man; in some versions, a disgruntled mason, in others, a devil, bogeyman or a motiveless villain.
