The climactic fight scene in the hellish pit was originally supposed to be longer. The walls of the set collapsed from the weight of the actors and crew midway through the shoot, sending the water completely gushing out of the warehouse and into the street. An exhausted Ilarde wanted to pack-up the shoot but reconsidered after a 3AM call from Regal Films' matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde, pleading with him to find a means to finish the scene. The scene was completed at a little past daybreak (with a rebuilt set), but with an abbreviated version of the fight scene.
