After ABC aired this TV show starring Shaun Cassidy as a young private eye in 1977 to great ratings; NBC followed suit the next season with David Cassidy - Man Undercover (1978) in 1978. David Cassidy played an undercover cop who poses as a student to investigate a high school drug ring, a kind of 70s version of I quattro della scuola di polizia (1987). After 10 episodes, it was off the air.
