It turns out Zach and Gray from Jurassic World (2015) were supposed to be going to Camp Cretaceous, like the six adolescents in season 1 of the show. The characters also find Zach and Gray's damaged gyrosphere and the corpse of the ankylosaurs killed by the Indominus Rex.
