The first part of the fight between Rexy and the Indominus Rex is very similar (almost shot for shot) to the T-Rex and Spinosaurus battle from Jurassic Park III (2001) with Rexy biting into the Indominus Rex's neck and throwing her around before she breaks free and gets the upper hand before Blue intervenes.
